Thank you for your interest in The First Tee of Indiana-Orange County. Our program is housed at the Valley Links Golf Course in French Lick, home of the 2015 Senior Open Championship. Our eight-week summer program is led by Justin Murphy. In an effort to provide an affordable youth program, classes only cost $50 and scholarships are available for those in need. Additionally, every participant receives a t-shirt on their first day of class. For more information, check out our Facebook Page.

The First Tee of Indiana-Orange County offers scholarships to kids on a need basis. Our goal as a community is to ensure every kid has a place to learn, have fun, and cultivate friendships. If you want to apply for a scholarship, please fill out the application, and submit to Luci Ross at lross@indianagolf.org.

As a nonprofit, we rely on volunteers to help run our programs. While many opportunities relate to golf, most locations need support off the course as well. Some of the volunteer opportunities include event planning, mentoring, coaching, and in-school programming. As a volunteer, you will be looked upon as a model of The First Tee’s Nine Core Values: Honesty, Integrity, Perseverance, Judgment, Responsibility, Respect, Courtesy, Confidence, and Sportsmanship.  In addition, you will be identified as a trustworthy, caring adult.
