WELCOME
Thank you for your interest in The First Tee of Indiana-Bloomington. Our camp-style classes are taught by PGA professionals Aaron Craig and Jason Sims at Cascades Golf Course. Since 2014, we have been working with teachers at local elementary schools to introduce youth to the game of golf and The First Tee’s nine core values and healthy habits. For $99, Bloomington residents can register their youth ages 7-18 for a five-day, day camp at Cascades Golf Course. During class, beginner participants will learn the fundamentals of golf while also learning how the core values can be demonstrated both on and off the golf course. Advanced camps are offered to participants who need to refine their existing skills. Find out more information about what we are doing in your community on our Facebook Page.

BIRDIE
The Birdie level focuses on emphasizing goal-setting, golf skills and the healthy habits.

SCHOLARSHIPS
The First Tee of Indiana-Bloomington offers scholarships to kids on a need basis. Our goal, as a community, is to ensure every kid has a place to learn, have fun, and cultivate friendships. VOLUNTEERING

As a nonprofit, we rely on the help of volunteers to run our programs. While many opportunities relate to golf, most locations have the need for support off the course as well. Some of the volunteer opportunities at locations include event planning, mentoring, coaching, and in-school programming. As a volunteer, you will be looked upon as a model of The First Tee’s Nine Core Values: Honesty, Integrity, Perseverance, Judgment, Responsibility, Respect, Courtesy, Confidence, and Sportsmanship.  In addition, you will be identified as a trustworthy, caring adult.
